Why We Take X-rays

X-rays are an important tool for analysis. Chiropractors will use x-rays as a way to get a better idea of a patient's condition or injury. Through an x-ray, your doctor will be able to pinpoint the exact place that might be having issues and where your pain emanates.

At our offices we use digital x-rays. A digital x-ray is a diagnostic tool like an x-ray in general, but instead of using film or other means, it uses computer software to create images from raw data from the x-ray beam.

Digital images are created with electricity and no radiation. This is the reason why doctors recommend them so much! They're also considered a more accurate way of imaging bones, joints, and other body parts for abnormalities or injuries.
